HOOSIERS TIED FOR 3RD WITH PURDUE
Franklin, Ind. - The Indiana women's golf team is tied for third place with Purdue after the first day of the Legends Shoot-Out. The team shot a 604 (304-300) on Monday, putting them in contention for their second victory of the season.
Oklahoma St. proved to be the best team on Monday as four of their five players are holding or sharing a top three position. They lead the field of twelve by a convincing 22 shot margin.
Junior Natalie Tucker continued her steady play as she fired a 147 (75-72) on the first day. Tucker shares a tie for third place with three other players. Sophomore Inga Snyder also showed well on the first day of the Legends shooting a 157 (77-74), good enough for a share of 13th place.
The Hoosiers will look to catch Oklahoma St. as the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday beginning at 8:00 a.m..
