TALENTED FIELD GETS THE BEST OF HOOSIERS
Palo Alto, Cal. - The Indiana women's golf team wrapped-up their fall schedule on Sunday with a share of eighth place at the Stanford/Pepsi Invitational. The Hoosiers joined New Mexico and California in eighth with a tournament total score of 912 (303-304-305). Tulsa captured team honors in the field of eighteen with a score of 879 (297-285-297) and Stacy Prammanasudh of Tulsa took individual honors with a 210 (73-66-71) total.
For Indiana, Sophomore Tiffany Fisher shot a solid final round of 70 to close out the tournament in a tie for 25th. Fisher began the day sharing a tie for 61st and was able to move up considerably with her 226 (78-78-70) total. Junior Natalie Tucker slipped from her second day standing, where she sat in a tie for 15th, to finish the tournament in a tie for 35th. Tucker closed the fall season with a score of 228 (75-73-80).
The Hoosiers will next compete on February 25-27 at the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona. The Wildcat Invitational is the one and only meet on the team's winter schedule.
