ITA MIDWEST PREVIEW
ON TAP...The Hoosiers will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take part in the ITA Midwest Regional. The tournament will take place from Wednesday, November 3 to Sunday, November 8. The Hoosiers will send seven players to compete in singles, while six of those players will also be competing in doubles. Zahra Ahamed, Jessica Anderson and Kelly Blanch all made the main draw and will begin competion on Friday in singles. Anderson picked up the 5th seed. Also beginning play on Friday in doubles are Anderson and Blanch, who received a first-round bye. Amanda Field, Jennifer Hsia, J.J. Levin and Karie Schlukebir all made the qualifying round and will begin play on Wednesday. In qualifying doubles beginning on Wednesday, Ahamed/Schlukebir and Field/Levin will take the court and try and qualify for this weekends main draw.

GEORGIA TECH INVITATIONAL RECAP...The Hoosiers competed in the Georgia Tech Invitational from October 22-24. In Flight A singles, Jessica Anderson took 4th place, while Kelly Blanch won the back draw to finish in 9th-place. In Flight D, Karie Schlukebir lost in the finals match to finish in 2nd-place. Jennifer Hsia won the back draw of Flight C (9th-place), while J.J. Levin finished in 8th-place in Flight B. In doubles, Anderson/Blanch (Flight A) and Ahamed/Schlukebir (Flight B) each won the back of their Flights to finish in 9th-place.
