IU EIGHTH AT STAN SHERIFF INTERCOLLEGIATE
KANEOHE, Hawaii - Indiana's men's golf team finished the Stan Sheriff Intercollegiate Tournament in eighth place Tuesday. Eleven teams competed at the Ko'olau Golf Club with West Florida taking the team title with a tournament total 910 (307-302-301). Michael Harris of Michigan took medalist honors with a 223 (75-75-73).
The Hoosiers shot a three-round total 952, carding a 320-313-319. Senior Steve Wheatcroft (81-77-74) was the top finisher for the Hoosiers, placing 10th overall. Senior Corey Sullivan finished 19th, scoring a 78-80-78.
