INDIANA HOSTS PENN STATE IN NCAA THIRD ROUND

Bloomington, Ind. -The Indiana University number two ranked men's soccer team (18-3-0) will host number six Penn State (19-3-1) on Sunday, December 5 at 2 p.m. at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for college students and younger. (Tickets may be purchased at the gate or from the IU Ticket Office (812-855-4006) located in Assembly Hall.) The two teams are among the final eight and the winner of this match advances to the 1999 NCAA Men's College Cup (December 10 and 12) in Charlotte, NC. Indiana Head Coach Jerry Yeagley is looking to take his 13th team to the final four.
This is the third time this season that Indiana has played Penn State. The Hoosiers won 4-2 on October 1 in Bloomington, and 2-1 in double overtime to win their eighth Big Ten Championship in East Lansing, MI on November 14. IU is also 42-3 in NCAA games played in Bloomington.
