FOUR HOOSIERS NAMED TO ALL-REGION TEAM

Bloomington, Ind.--Four Indiana men's soccer players were named to the 1999 NSCAA/adidas All-Mideast team. Seniors Yuri Lavrinenko and Aleksey Korol, along with junior Nick Garcia, earned first teams honors, while sophomore Ryan Mack was named to the second team.
This is the third straight apperance for both Korol and Garcia and the first for Lavrinenko and Mack. Garcia is the first Hoosier since Todd Yeagley (1991-1994) to earn all-region honors in each of his first three seasons.
Korol and Garcia are both finalists for the Herman Trophy award, college soccer's national player-of-the-year. The winner will be announcedon December 11.
Indiana battles UCLA tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the national semifinals at the College Cup in Charlotte, N.C. as the Hoosiers are looking for their fifth national championship.
