INDIANA DEFEATS UCLA IN 4OT

Indiana's quest for its fifth national championship will continue on Sunday as the Hoosiers defeated UCLA 3-2 in four overtimes to advance to the national championship game of the College Cup in Charlotte, N.C. The Hoosiers will battle Santa Clara for the national crown on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game will be live on ESPN.
Ryan Mack netted the game-winner with 8:19 remaining in the final overtime period on an assist from Pat Noonan.
It was Noonan that got the Hoosiers on the board to give Indiana a 1-0 lead. Mack assisted on Noonan's goal with 35:37 left in the contest.
Yuri Lavrinenko gave the Hoosiers a 2-0 lead at the 14:52 mark. Aleksey Korol and Tyler Hawley assisted on the second Indiana score.
UCLA stormed back to score once with 13:18 remaining and then tied the game with 6:49 left in the contest.
Santa Clara defeated Connecticut in the other semifinal game, 2-1 in four overtimes.
