HOOSIERS START SEASON AT THE BAMA BASH
Game Information: The Hoosiers play at the Bama Bash hosted by the University of Alabama at Bowers Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Friday February 26 to Sunday February 28.
Tournament Format: The tournament has two pools that play a round robin series. Then the teams are seeded by their finish in their pool for an eight team tournament in which everyone will play three games.

Series Records: Of the other seven teams in the tournament, the Hoosiers have only played Evansville. IU has played the Aces 19 times and holds an 18-1, including a sweep of a doubleheader when they last met in 1997 (IU 4-6, UE 2-1).
Head Coach Diane Stephenson... is in her 12th season as the Indiana head coach, with winning records in seven of her 11 seasons. Stephenson has accumulated a 341-263-3 (.564) career record, including a 147-128 (.534) record in Big Ten play. Her team made the NCAA Mideast Regional in 1994 and finished with a record of 49-16.
1998 Hoosiers: IU finished the 1998 season with a 13-31-1 (7-16 Big Ten) record.
