OGUNLEYE TO PARTICIPATE IN SEVERAL COMMUNITY RELATIONS PROJECTS
BLOOMINGTON, IND. -- Senior defensive end Adewale Ogunleye, a preseason All-America candidate and Indiana University's career sack leader, will be participating in two separate community relations projects this week.
On Saturday, February 27, Ogunleye will be a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Central Indiana's "Muscle Team." As a Muscle Team Member, Ogunleye will be present at a black tie event at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis that honors sports celebrities for their efforts in finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, March 2, Ogunleye will be a participant in the Read Across America program. From 10:30-11:00 a.m., Ogunleye will be reading a book to students in rooms three and four at Bloomington's Arlington Elementary School, which is located at 800 Gourley Pike.
Read Across America is a national program to increase awareness about the importance of reading.
