HOOSIERS FALL TO SPARTANS
Bloomington, Ind.-- Despite four Hoosiers in double figures, Indiana never got control of the Spartans losing their fifth straight 86-69. With the loss, Indiana falls to 13-13 overall and 2-10 in the Big Ten. Michigan State moves to 12-10 and 6-6 in Big Ten play.
Kristin Rasmussen had a near triple-double to lead all scorers with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists. Rasmussen was backed by Maxann Reese who chipped in 17 points. Donita Johnson also finished with a double-double totalling 13 point and 11 assists.
Cindy Kerns led the Hoosiers with her 10th double-double of the season. Kerns had 19 points and tied her career high 15 rebounds. Both Kay Morgan and Jill Chapman added 16 points a piece, and Kristi Green scored 12.
