GOLF TEAM PLACES FIFTH AT PEGGY KIRK BELL INVITE
ORLANDO, Fla. - Indiana University women's golf team placed fifth at the 24th Annual Top-Flite Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational Tuesday. The Hoosiers carded a two day total 625 (315-310). Tournament honors went to Michigan State who turned in a 608 (310-298) score card. Junior Katie Bakken of Minnesota won medalist honors with a three-over par 147 (70-77).
Natalie Tucker led the Hoosiers individually, finishing tied for 17th with a two-round total of 156 (79-77). Tiffany Fisher was tied for 22nd with a 157 (76-81).
The Hoosiers will play next in the Bryan National in Greensboro, N.C., March 24-26.
