HOOSIERS DROP OVERTIME THRILLER TO PACIFIC

Stockton, Calif. - The Indiana Women's Water Polo team blew a three goal fourth quarter lead in losing to the Pacific Tigers in overtime, 7-6 in Stockton, Calif.

Sophomore driver Kristin Carpenter scored three times as Indiana (8-11) built a 6-3 lead after three periods of play. Molly Smith brought the Tigers (5-8) back with three goals, the last coming with :44 left in regulation to force overtime.

In overtime, once again it was Smith who did the damage. She scored the game-winner, her fifth of the game, with :46 left to give Pacific the win.

The Hoosiers are back in action this weekend at the Michigan Invitational in Ann, Arbor.
