HOOSIERS DROP TWO CLOSE GAMES

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Indiana's softball team (7-10) lost two games by the score of 4-2 Saturday at the Missouri Invitational.

The Hoosiers lost the first game to Western Michigan and the second to Tulsa (10-17). IU freshman Brooke Monroe doubled in the first game and singled in the second to continue her succesful rookie campaign.

Junior Teresa Martinez pitched a complete game against Tulsa. All four of the Golden Hurricanes' runs came in the 5th inning.
