MEN'S DIVERS PREPARE FOR NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
WHAT'S HAPPENING: Members of the men's diving team will be competing in the 1999 Swimming and Diving NCAA Championships this weekend March 25-28 in Indianapolis, Ind. The IU Natatorium on IUPUI's campus hosts the meet.
THE DIVERS: Senior Mike Collier, a three-time All-American, competes in his fourth NCAA Championship. This season he has earned the title of Big Ten Diver of the Year after winning the one-meter and taking second on both the three-meter and 10-meter platform. He has earned that honor three times during his career. He will compete on all three boards at NCAAs.
Ryan Kosanic is the other member of IU Diving who qualified for the NCAA Championships. Kosanic is diving in his first ever NCAA meet. The junior put together his best performance at the Big Ten Championships and NCAA Zones in his career this season. At Big Tens, he took fifth on one-meter, and fourth on three-meter, respectively. At Zones, he finished ninth on one-meter and fourth on three-meter to qualify for his first NCAA meet.
