WOMEN'S GOLF TEAM IN ATHENS FOR LIZ MURPHY

Tournament Data: The Indiana University women's golf team will travel to Athens, Georgia to participate in the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 2-4.
The Teams: (18) Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Furman, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, LSU, Memphis, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Southern Illinois,Tennessee, Texas, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington.
The Hoosiers: The Hoosiers have had a couple of weeks of rest after the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on March 8 and 9 in Winter Springs, Florida. At the Peggy Kirk, the Hoosiers performed well, finsihing second with a two-day score of 638 (327-311).
Leading the Hoosiers was freshman Tiffany Fisher. Fisher fired a score of 158 (83-75) to leave her tied for eighth place. Senior Erin Carney also played well, finsihing tied for 11th with a total of 159 (82-77).
Sophomore Inga Snyder turned in the low round of the tournament on the second day, firing a two-over par 74. Coupled with her first round of 86, Snyder, 160 (86-74) wound up in a tie for 15th place.
Coach Sam Carmichael has changed the lineup for this week's tournament.
Carmichael will be taking Carney (74.6), Fisher (78.6), Michelle Hatfield
(80.9), Theresa McDermott (79.5), and Sami Montgomery (79.9).
