SECOND ANNUAL WOMEN'S CLINIC TO BE HELD APRIL 8
Bloomington, Ind. -- On Thursday, April 8, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., the Indiana University football staff will host its Second Annual Women's Football Clinic at the Memorial Stadium Football Complex. Those individuals who wish to attend are encouraged to pre-register by contacting Debbie Thompson or Barb Kenealy at (812) 855-9618.
"Last year's women's clinic received such a positive response that there was no hesitation on our part to make this an annual event," said head coach Cam Cameron. "Quite honestly, I think our coaches enjoyed themselves as much as the women who attended the clinic."
Said a husband of a participant in last year's clinic, "My wife, a somewhat reluctant football fan, came home totally impressed with the presentations, the facilities, the rapport between coaches, and the tone of the evening. She intends to go again this year, and stated that as the word gets out from those who attended, it would become a sellout, albeit free event."
The clinic, which is free and for women only, will allow the women of Indiana to meet Cam Cameron and his staff. The women attending the clinic will be broken into three groups (offense, defense, and strength and conditioning/athletic training/equipment) and will rotate every forty minutes for the duration of the event. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with registration and appetizers in the football complex lobby.
