HOOSIERS SPLIT WITH WISCONSIN

BLOOMINGTON, Ind - The Indiana Softball team split its double-header against Wisconsin Saturday afternoon at the IU Softball Field, winning game one 6-2 while losing game two 1-0.

In the first game, IU (16-21 overall, 3-4 Big Ten) scored four runs in the bottom of the third as the Badgers committed two errors. The Hoosiers also collected two runs in the bottom of the sixth as Melissa Narewski hit a two-run homer over the left field fence.

In game two, Wisconsin (15-12, 1-3 Big Ten) scored its only run in the bottom of the fourth to defeat the Hoosiers.

Indiana and Wisconsin will meet for game three of the series at 1 p.m., Sunday, April 11 at the IU Softball Field.
