HOOSIERS LOSE AT IOWA

Iowa City, Iowa -- The Indiana Softball team lost 5-1 at Iowa Sunday afternoon.

The Hoosiers (17-27, 3-8 Big Ten) gave the Hawkeyes (30-16-1, 5-4 Big Ten) two runs in the second and third innings. IU then scored its only run in the fourth as junior Sheri Savko singled to center to drive in senior Khara Good.

The Hoosiers host Purdue Wednesday at the IU Softball Field. The double header begins at 2 p.m.
