CHORNY NAMED BIG TEN ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Bloomington, Indiana -- Indiana senior Tom Chorny was name Big Ten Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week. Chorny won the 3000m steeplechase at the 105th Penn Relays with a time of 8:37.18. This is an NCAA automatic qualifying time and the fastest time by an American collegiate this year as well as a new IU record.
