Hoosiers Practice Without Cameron
Bloomington, Ind. -- Indiana head football coach Cam Cameron missed today's practice session, the sixth such practice of the spring, because his wife, Missy, had her gall bladder removed today at Bloomington Hospital. She made it through surgery without complications. Center Chad Miller also missed practice to attend his grandfather's funeral and senior All-America candidate Adewale Ogunleye did not practice because of a sprained ankle.
On the field, the Hoosiers practiced from 3:15-5:30 and the session included a brief 3rd-n-long situation scrimmage which was highlighted by a long pass from redshirt freshman quarterback Tommy Jones to redshirt freshman tight end Bobby Brandt.
Cam Cameron's charges will return to the practice field at 3:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning, April 10, the Hoosiers will conduct a scrimmage with officials that will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. on the football practice fields. The scrimmage is free and open to the public. The Second Annual Women's Football Clinic will be held tomorrow, April 8, at the Memorial Stadium Football Complex. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., is free, and is open to all interested women. The Red-White Spring Game will be held at Bill Armstrong Stadium at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17. The Spring Game is also open to the public free of charge.
