FREE YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP DRAWS 400 TO BLOOMINGTON CAMPUS

Bloomington, Ind. -- The Indiana University football staff and about 30 IU football players hosted a free youth football camp today at the Mellencamp Pavilion on the Bloomington campus. Students entering grades three through eight attended today's camp which lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
"Today's camp was an excellent opportunity for our coaches and players to give something back to the youth of this area who do everything they can to support us throughout the year," said head coach Cam Cameron. "We were really pleased that children throughout the state came to Bloomington to participate. This camp will certainly become an annual event."
Campers participated in a variety of drills, took a tour of the football complex, viewed the 1998 Indiana Football highlight film, and concluded the session with an autograph signing which featured, among others, quarterback Antwaan Randle El, the 1998 Big Ten Freshman-of-the-Year, and preseason All-America candidate Adewale Ogunleye.
