DeVORE SIGNS WITH D-BACKS
Bloomington, Ind. -- Two days after being selected in the 12th round
of the amateur baseball draft, Indiana's Doug DeVore signed a contract with
the Arizona Diamondbacks.
DeVore, who posted career-highs with a .360 average, 19 home runs and 65
RBIs this past season, was also a first team all-Big Ten selection.
