Bloomington, Ind.- The defending national champion Indiana soccer team has ranked No. 1 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Preseason Ranking.

The Hoosiers earned 480 points in the voting to outdistance Stanford, Maryland, Clemson and Santa Clara who round out the Top 5.
