NORTH CAROLINA KICKOFF SCHEDULED FOR 6:00 P.M.

Bloomington, Ind. -- Indiana University Athletic Director Clarence Doninger today announced that Indiana's football game vs. North Carolina on September 11, 1999, will begin at 6:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. EDT. The game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, will feature two of the finest quarterbacks in the college game, Indiana's Antwaan Randle El and North Carolina's Ronald Curry. Both also play basketball for their respective schools.
********After being recognized as the "Best Coach in the Big Ten" in the Sporting News' 1999 preseason football issue, head coach Cam Cameron has recently received more national attention for his coaching ability.
On Tuesday, August 3, CNN/Sports Illustrated recognized Cameron as the "Hot Coach" in the Big Ten Conference. Wrote CNN/SI's Stewart Mandel, "Coaches from around the country flocked to Bloomington this spring to see Cameron's innovative combo offense, where he's been known to run the option one down, a three-receiver set the next. With Randle El and the entire offensive line returning, the third-year coach's rebuilding project is on the verge of fruition."
Also, cbssportsline.com recognized Cameron as one of five "Hot" Coaches in the college game along with John Chavis (Tennessee defensive coordinator), Greg Davis (Texas offensive coordinator), Ricky Hunley (Missouri associate head coach), and Bobby Pruett (Marshall head coach). The same web site also mentioned Indiana as a team that did not go to a bowl in 1998 but will rebound in 1999. It also mentioned Indiana as one of 15 teams on an upswing entering 1999.
