HOOSIERS FINISH 5TH AT LADY NORTHERNMadison, WI - The Indiana University women's golf team solidified a fifth place finish on Sunday shooting a final round of 305 at the Lady Northern Invitational. Stacy Orschell of Purdue took individual honors posting a three round score of 217 (71-75-71), one shot better than second place finisher Allie Blomquist of Wisconsin 218 (74-72-72).
For the Hoosiers senior Theresa McDermott grabbed her first top-ten finish of the season with a total score of 229 (78-73-78). Natalie Tucker and Sami Montgomery also finished well, posting third round scores of 72 and 73 respectively.
The team will travel to East Lansing, Michigan next weekend (Sept.25-26) to compete in the Mary Fossum Invitational.
