Coaches' Outlook
Indiana head women's track and field coach Randy Heisler:
"This should be a good meet for us. Each team is strong
in a number of different areas. Ohio State has great sprinters,
Washington has good distance runners and Western Carolina has
a great vaulter and 400 meter runner, so we will get tested in
a number of different events. We just want to keep getting better
with each meet. We beat Michigan last weekend, but we have not
really won anything yet."
Heisler on two-time Big Ten Athlete of the Week Jennifer Brown:
"I would be selling her short it I said that she was
satisfied with her performance this season. I know that she now
knows just how good she can be. She may not set a personal best
every meet, but we are going to to keep trying to do that each
week."
Last Weekend
The Hoosiers hosted Michigan in a dual meet last weekend and
the women posted an 84-77 victory while the men fell to the Wolverines
85-78. The victory for the women over the two-time defending
Big Ten champions was their first against Michigan since the
1980's.
