Hoosiers Finish Seventh in Northern
Minneapolis, Minn.-- Three days and 54 holes later, the Indiana women's golf team scored a 922 to finish seventh among the 16 teams at the Northern Invitational. Ohio State led all teams with an 896. The Hoosiers improved from day one competition with team scores of 314, 302, and 306. Senior Natalie Tucker finished second just three strokes behind the leader shooting a 221 (76-72-73). Following Tucker, competing in her second competition for IU, Danah Ford finished tied for 31st place with a 234 (83-75-76). Tiffany Fisher came closely behind her in a tie for 35th shooting a 235 (78-77-80). Cara Stuckey and Adrienne Graessle both tied for 51st with scores of 240. Rounding up Hoosier scoring was freshman Karen Dennison with a 244 (86-78-80). Next up for Indiana is the Legends Invitational in Franklin, Ind. Oct. 9 & 10.
