Hoosiers Finish in Middle of the Pack
Franklin, Ind.-- The Indiana women's golf team fell one spot to finish seventh place overall in the Legends Invitational with a team score of 903. In all three tournaments of this fall season the Hoosiers have finished in seventh or eighth place. Of the six teams that placed ahead of IU, five of them were Big Ten rivals. Ohio State held their lead from day one to finish one stroke ahead of Purdue with an 880 total score. In the lead for the Hoosiers, Senior Natalie Tucker shot a 76 on the day's 18 to finish tied for 14th place with a 222. The biggest mover was freshman Ambry Bishop who finished tied for 28th place after being in 36th on completion of the first day. She shot a 74 on the day and finished with a 227. Red-shirt freshman Danah Ford shot a round of 77 for an overall score of 227 and a tie for 28th. With an overall score of 228, junior Tiffany Fisher finished tied for 35th. Cara Stuckey improved her previous two rounds shooting a 77 and finishing with a 239 for the tournament.
