U.S. Cross Country Coaches Association Ranks the Hoosier Men Fifth in the Most Recent Great Lakes Regional Poll
In the most recent Great Lakes Regional Poll, the Indiana Hoosiers stepped down one spot from fourth to fifth following Pre-NCAA performance. The move keeps the Hoosiers high compared to the pre-season ranking of ninth. Teams in the Great Lakes Region are those IU will compete against for NCAA Championship qualification in November and some will battle in the Big Ten Championships on Sunday, October 29th. The poll was updated on October 17th, 2000:
