U.S. Cross Country Coaches Association Ranks the Hoosier Men Fifth in the Most Recent Great Lakes Regional Poll
In the most recent Great Lakes Regional Poll, the Indiana Hoosiers jumped one spot from sixth to fifth as the Wolverines dropped to tenth. The move is a leap compared to the pre-season ranking of ninth. Teams in the Great Lakes Region are those IU will compete against for NCAA Championship qualification in November. The poll was updated on October 2, 2000:
