Indiana Finishes Stanford Intercollegiate in 13th Place
Stanford, Ca.-- Led by the strong play of senior Natalie Tucker, who finished seventh, the Indiana women's golf team finished 13th at the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate. For the three-day tournament, Tucker shot a 218, five over par to lead the Hoosiers. Winning the tournament was Arizona, who fired a three-day total of 873, where as the Hoosiers were 62 strokes back with a 935 (307-309-319).
Medalist honors were awarded to Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh, who shot a six-under par, 210. On the individual side, junior Tiffany Fisher tied for 61st place with two other competitors, firing a 21-over par (237). Redshirt freshman Danah Ford shared 68th place honors, finishing with a three-day total of 240, 24-over par. Also competing for the Hoosiers was sophomore Adrienne Graessle, who finished 78th (242, 26-over par) and freshman Ambry Bishop, who finished 89th (248, 32-over par).
This wraps up the fall part of the schedule for the Hoosiers, as they will return to action in the spring on March 5-6 as they will take part in the GTE "Mo"morial in Dallas, Texas.
