Hoosiers in Sixth Place
Franklin, Ind.-- Among the fifteen teams at the Legends Invitational, the IU women’s golf team finished the day in sixth place. Senior Natalie Tucker was the top finisher for the Hoosiers shooting into ninth place with a 146 (72, 74) on the day. Danah Ford and Tiffany Fisher both shot rounds of 74 and 76 to tie for 21st place overall. Freshman Ambry Bishop put up rounds of 74 and 79 to finish in a tie for 36th place. Rounding up the Hoosiers was Cara Stuckey who finished with a 162 (82, 80) and is tied for 71st place. In team competition, five of the top six teams are in the Big Ten with Ohio State and Michigan State leading the pack. Competition resumes tomorrow for the last 18 holes. Rounds begin at 8 a.m.
