The Coaches

track and field coach and program coordinator and is in his 17th
season with the Hoosiers.
Randy Heisler is in his second season as the women's track and
field coach and is in his 11th season with the Hoosiers.
Coaches' Outlook
Indiana head women's track and field coach Randy Heisler
(Purdue meet):
"Though four of our athletes will be competing at the
Cannon event we still must stay focused and beat Purdue. Purdue
is the defending outdoor Big Ten champions and is strong in a
lot of events so we are going to need solid performances in every
event and must win those events that on paper we have a slight
edge in."
(Cannon IV Classic):
"As well as Danielle, Tia, LaToya and Lorraine are running
at this point in the season I think that it is important that
they compete against some of the country's best and this meet
will allow them to do just that. We are hoping that they qualify
for NCAA's at this meet. Plus I feel that it is important that
they run on another track (other than Indiana's) before the Big
Ten Championship."

Both the Indiana men and women took home first place honors at
