HOOSIERS 1-3 IN WAR EAGLE CLASSIC

AUBURN, Ala. - Indiana University's softball team wrapped up play in the rain shortened War Eagle Classic Sunday, losing to Auburn 5-3, before defeating Miami-Ohio 2-0.

After going 1-3 in the War Eagle Classic, Indiana's record now stands at 3-11.

Against the Tigers, Trisha Boyd hit two doubles, while Brooke Monroe's triple in the fourth inning against the Redhawks brought both of IU's runs home against the Redhawks.

Indiana will next play a double-header against Troy State Tuesday, March 14 in Troy, Ala.
