HOOSIERS TO COMPETE IN NORTH CAROLINA
Meet Data
The Indiana University Women's golf team will travel to Browns Summit, North
Carolina this weekend to compete in the Bryan National Invitational. Wake
Foerest will host the tournament at the par 72, 6,097 yard Bryan Park Players
Course.
The Competitors
The field competing this weekend consists of 15 teams: Florida State, Indiana,
Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Mississippi State, New Mexico, North Carolina,
Ohio State, Penn State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Vanderbilt, William
& Mary, and Wake Forest.

following the event. They can be viewed and printed out by choosing women's
golf from the main menu. Weekly updates and season best lists can be obtained
at www.athletics.indiana.edu all season long.
The Coaches
Sam Carmichael is now in his 20th season as Head Coach of the Women's Golf
Team.
The Line-up
Coach Carmichael will take a team of five to North Carolina this weekend
including Tiffany Fisher (77.2 avg.), Natalie Tucker (75.4 avg.), Theresa
McDermott (76.2 avg.), Inga Snyder (78.9 avg.), and Sami Montgomery (77
avg.)
Leading The Way
Transfer Junior Natalie Tucker is leading the Hoosiers this season with
a 75.4 average. Tucker is currently ranked 50th in the country according
to the latest Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings.
Always At The Top
Indiana has finished in the top five in four of the five tournaments played
this 1999-2000 season.
