INDIANA SOFTBALL LOSES TO NO. 2 ARIZONA
TUCSON, Ariz. - The Hoosiers lost 10-1 to No. 2 Arizona in their final game of the Hillenbrand Softball Invitational at Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium on Sunday, March 5. The to Hoosiers drop 2-8 on the season after the loss.
For the Hoosiers, senior Sheri Savko hit a double in the second inning to bring in freshman Stormy Hanson. Sophomore Alison Cooke took the loss on the mound, but struck out four during her outing.
Next weekend, the Hoosiers will travel to Auburn, Alabama to compete
in the War Eagle Classic March 10-12.
