IU HEADS TO WRIGHT STATE

Indiana will start its ten-game road trip Wednesday, April 12
at Wright State. IU beat the Raiders 9-7 at Sembower earlier
this season. The Raiders are 10-19 this season, 2-0 at home.

Head Coach Bob Morgan
Bob Morgan is in his 17th season at Indiana. He has posted a
632-353-3 record while with the Hoosiers and owns a career mark
of 924-441-5. He currently ranks in the top ten nationally amongst
active Division I coaches in career winning percentage and in
the top 20 in career victories. Furthermore, Morgan has never
suffered a losing season in this is 25th year as a collegiate
head coach.
On a Streak
Tim McNab brings a ten-game hitting streak into Wednesday's contest.
The sophomore outfielder is batting .424 during the streak. Rich
Berich has a six game hitting streak coming into this week's
contest.
Best in the Big Ten
Indiana pitchers are leading the conference in team pitching.
IU owns a 3.83 ERA, fanning 295 batters, allowing only 132 walks.
Excellent Edwards
Brad Edwards pitched a shutout, allowing only one hit, against
Northwestern. The Wildcats' lone hit came in the top of the seventh
in a seven inning game. Edwards faced 22 batters, one over the
minimum, striking out eight.
Coming Through in the Clutch
Freshman Vasilli Spanos leads the team in hitting with a .402
average. He is hitting .400 this season with runners in scoring
position and .500 with the bases empty, as compared to .333 with
runners on base .
Berich Likes Runners on Bases/Lefties
Rich Berich is hitting .433 with runners on base this season
while he owns a .250 mark with the bases empty. He is hitting
.600 against left-handed pitching while he owns a .300 against
right-handed pitchers.
