Hoosiers Conduct Practice in 90º Heat
Bloomington, Ind. -- The Indiana University football team was back at practice today, its first session in Bloomington since returning from its training camp facility at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes National Headquarters in Marshall, Ind., this past weekend. The 30-period practice lasted approximately 2.5 hous and concluded with a short scrimmage. The Hoosiers will return to practice on Wednesday in anticipation of Friday's closed scrimmage at Memorial Stadium.
Today's injury report is as follows:
LB Robert Brown - concussion (day-to-day)
G Colin Christopher - knee (out)
WR Jerry Dorsey - shoulder (limited practice)
LB Herman Fowler - finger fracture (limited practice)
LB Shane Moat - knee (limited practice)
DT Sean Nelson - knee (out)
On Wednesday, head coach Cam Cameron, defensive tackle Paul Mandina, and several other IU football staff members will attend Coach Cameron's Pigskin Preview at the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis. The following day, Cameron and several IU seniors will attend the 2000 Bloomington Football Kickoff Luncheon which will be held at the Monroe County Convention Center.
