FOOTBALL MEDIA DAY 2000 AND PUNT, PASS AND KICK FOR CHARITY TO BE HELD ON AUGUST 16
Indiana Football Partners with B97 Radio to Present Corporate Challenge
Bloomington, Ind. -- The Indiana University football program today announced the schedule for Football Media Day 2000 which will be held at Memorial Stadium on the Bloomington campus on Wednesday, August 16. Football Media Day 2000 will commence at 1:30 p.m. EST/2:30 p.m. EDT and will include the IU Football Punt, Pass, and Kick for Charity contest. The contest will involve a competition between local businesses which will feature men's, women's, and coed teams which will raise money for a charity of choice.
MEDIA DAY SCHEDULE
11:00 a.m. Lunch for Media (Accredited Media Only)
11:30 a.m. Press conference with captains (Media Only)
12:30 p.m. Press conference with Cam Cameron (Media Only)
1:30 p.m. Team and community picture on game field
2:00-4:00 p.m. Punt, Pass, and Kick for Charity
Community Picture: The Indiana University team picture will be taken at this year's media day. Following the team picture, which will be taken on the game field at 1:30 p.m., an additional team picture will be taken in the Memorial Stadium stands. Any individual who attends Football Media Day 2000 may be in this community photograph with the team.
Autographs: Indiana University players and coaches will be on the Memorial Stadium football field from 2:00-4:00 p.m. to staff the corporate challenge and to sign autographs and pose for pictures.
IU Football Punt, Pass, and Kick for Charity: Please contact B97 Sales Manager Arthur Angotti III at (812) 336-8000 to participate in the contest. Each corporate team (made up of four individuals) will donate a minimum of $100 to the general fund and each team must pick a general charity for whom they will be playing.
For Kids: There will also be a punt, pass and kick competition for kids along with several other exciting activities.
