Hoosiers Six Strokes Behind Leader In A Tie For Third Place
San Antonio, Texas - After the first 18 holes, the Indiana women's golf team is in third place at the Baylor/Iowa San Antonio Shootout with a team score of 308. Big Ten rival Wisconsin leads the pack with a 14-over-par 302 performance on day one. Missouri is in second place with a 304 and Kansas State shares third place with the Hoosiers.
Senior Natalie Tucker is once again the leader for Indiana. Tucker shot a 74 in a tie for fourth place among the individual standings. A round of 76 by senior Inga Snyder was good for a share of 13th place and freshman Ambry Bishop finished with a 78 and a tie for the 21st position. Junior Tiffany Fisher's score of 80 was the fourth score to count in the Hoosier's team total. Fisher is tied for 34th place individually. Redshirt freshman Danah Ford also competed for IU, finishing with an 86 on the day.
Indiana will take to the course on Tuesday morning for the final round of 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Pecan Valley.
