Hoosiers Qualify for the NCAA West Regional
Bloomington, Ind. - The Indiana women's golf team is headed to Oregon State for the NCAA West Regional May 9-11. The Hoosiers were among the seven teams selected from the Big Ten to compete in regional competition. Ohio State and Michigan State will be participating in the West Regional as well. The top eight finishers at Regionals will advance to the NCAA Championships in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. May 22-25.
Indiana has had an impressive spring, taking the tournament crown at both the GTE "Mo"morial and the Baylor/Iowa Shootout. In the seven spring competitons, the Hoosiers finished no lower than fifth place and most recently took a share of second place at the Big Ten Tournament this past weekend.
