Cam Cameron Radio and Television Show Information

Bloomington, Ind. -- The Cam Cameron Television and Radio Shows will air for the first time this week in anticipation of Thursday's season opener at North Carolina State. While the Cam Cameron 2001 College Football Preview will continue to be broadcast on affiliates throughout the Big Ten region this weekend, the first regular installment of the 2001 Cam Cameron Show will air Sunday on the following stations:
Cam Cameron Radio Call-In Show to Debut On Labor Day;
Live Broadcast from the SRSC on the Bloomington Campus
Also, the 2001 Cam Cameron Radio Talk Show has a new home and format for the 2001 season. In collaboration with Learfield Sports Indiana, Steak n Shake Corp., and the IU Athletic Department, Cameron's call-in show will air on Monday's throughout the season from the Student Recreational Sports Complex on the Bloomington campus.
This weekly call in talk show will be broadcast live from the on-campus sports facility each week for 12 Monday's beginning Sept. 3 and ending Nov. 19. Each show runs from 7:05 p.m.-8:00 p.m. EST. The 47 Station IU Radio Network is heard throughout the state of Indiana and is hosted by twenty-eight year play-by-play veteran Don Fischer. Callers are encouraged to call the show and questions will also be accepted from those people attending the broadcast at the SRSC. The show is open and free to the public and parking will also be free at the SRSC during this show's broadcast. Food provided by the IU Athletic Food Service will be available for purchase.
Also this fall, Cameron will be bringing IU football players and staff members to the show each week as guests. Audience attendees will be encouraged to meet the players, ask questions of the team and coaches, register to win prizes, participate in fun contests, enjoy food and beverages, and interact with the Monday night "Theme guests" scheduled to appear each week.
