Bloomington, Ind. - Indiana senior quarterback Gibran Hamdan is this week's Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week.
He earned the recognition after leading the Hoosiers in their come-from-behind win over No. 23 Wisconsin on Saturday.
Hamdan connected on 24 of his 36 pass attempts in the contest for a season-high 310 yards and four touchdowns.
The North Potomac, Md., product engineered a remarkable 19-point comeback late in the second half by throwing for 216 yards on 15-for-21 passing from the 4:48 mark of the third quarter until the end of the game.
Hamdan is the second Hoosier to earn Big Ten Player of the Week honors this year, as Kris Dielman was named conference Defensive Player of the Week after Indiana's win over William & Mary. Hamdan is the Hoosiers' first offensive player to earn the honor since Levron Williams last year.
Hamdan shares the honor with Minnesota's Terry Jackson II.
