Baseball Set For Cream and Crimson Series

Bloomington, Ind. – The Indiana University baseball team will conclude its fall practice season with the annual Crimson and Cream series on Saturday and Sunday. The team will be divided into two teams and compete in a three-game intrasquad series. Game one is set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. following the Indiana vs. Iowa Homecoming football game. Sunday's doubleheader of games two and three will start at 10 a.m.
The Crimson and Cream series is a part of homecoming and IU Baseball Alumni Weekend. Other events include a golf outing, banquet, and tailgating before the Hoosiers’ football game with Iowa. Complete schedule of events is listed below.

Friday, October 18th
12:30 p.m. Registration at the IU Golf Course
1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:45 p.m. Golf Outing (Shotgun Start) -- Tee Times start
5:30 p.m. 44th Annual Homecoming Parade begins west on East Third Street, concluding at the Sample Gates on Indiana Avenue.
6:30 p.m. Pep Rally with fireworks and special guests: football coach Gerry DiNardo, IU football players, cheerleaders, RedSteppers and Marching Hundred at the Sample Gates.
2002 IU Baseball Banquet at the Bloomington Convention Center
7:00 p.m. -- Social
7:30 p.m. -- Banquet Begins
Saturday October 19th
9:30 a.m. IU Baseball Tailgate: Food, beverages and tickets included. Tent is located in the Orange Lot grass between Memorial Stadium & Assembly Hall on the Northeast corner.
11:10 a.m. IU vs. Iowa at Memorial Stadium
3:30 p.m. CRIMSON vs. CREAM SERIES (GAME 1)
8:00 p.m. Blast II Shockwave at the IU Auditorium.
