The passing game will be key for the Hoosiers and senior Tommy Jones has been handed the reigns to lead Indiana under center on Saturday.
Here is an in-depth look at 10 quick facts as to what the Hoosiers have done this year through the air:
[1] • Indiana has accounted for 2,646 passing yards through its first 10 games. The Hoosiers need just 110 yards to set the school record for most passing yards in a season. Last season, the Hoosiers set the school record for most rushing yards with 2,964. The Hoosiers are on pace to throw for 3,174 yards this year.
[2] • The Hoosiers currently rank second in passing offense in the Big Ten.
[3] • Gibran Hamdan leads the Big Ten in overall passing yards per game this season with 221 per contest.
[4] • Fellow fifth-year senior Tommy Jones has seen action in two of the last three games, replacing the starter Gibran Hamdan late in the game. Jones has made the most of his opportunity in his last two games of action (Illinois and Michigan State)

[5] • Indiana's Courtney Roby is currently third in the Big Ten conference with 95.2 yards per game.
[6] • Courtney Roby has recorded four games with over 100 yards receiving this year, making him only the third player in school history to notch four 100-yard receiving games in a single season. Thomas Lewis and Ernie Jones are the only other Hoosiers to do it. Jones is the only player in school history with five 100-yard games in a single season.
[7] • Roby's teammate Glenn Johnson has added a pair of 100-yard games of his own this season.
[8] • Courtney Roby already has 925 receiving yards this year, a figure that already ranks fourth on Indiana's single-season list. With two games still remaining, the sophomore has a shot at eclipsing Ernie Jones' 15-year-old school record of 1,256 receiving yards. He will need an average of 165.5 in his last two games to catch Jones. Roby is on pace to finish the season with 1,110 receiving yards.

[9] • Only a sophomore, one can't help but think about the numbers Roby could put up before he leaves Indiana. Roby has accounted for 1,096 receiving yards during his 20-game career. Charting Roby on his current pace, he would be projected to finish his career at Indiana with 2,493 receiving yards. That mark would be a new record for a Hoosier receiver.
[10] • Even as recent as last year, running back Levron Williams led the team with 289 receiving yards...on the year. If the season were to end today, Roby would already have the highest receiving yard total for a Hoosier since Lewis' mark of 1,058 yards in 1993.
