Bloomington, Ind. - The Indiana Football team took part in its third full practice of the fall this morning and the temperatures and intensity began to rise on the playing field. The Hoosiers will head back out to the gridiron this afternoon and tomorrow morning take part in their first practice with full pads.
Today's practice featured fundamental drills and the number one offense and number one defense squaring off against each other in controlled settings. The number one offense today featured Bobby Brandt, Isaac Sowells, Enoch DeMar, Anthony Oakley and A.C. Myler on the line. DeMar played center as Head Coach Gerry DiNardo continues to develop depth at the position. Chris Jahnke is the expected starter at the position. Aaron Halterman lined up at tight end while David Lewis and Glenn Johnson were the wideouts. The backfield featured Brian Lewis, Jason Sullivan and Tommy Jones and Gibran Hamdan.
The number one defensive unit featured Derek Barnett, Colin Christopher, Kris Dielman and Jodie Clemons up front with the familiar trio of Ron Bethel, Herana-Daze Jones and Deonte Smith at the linebacker position. The secondary was comprised of Joe Gonzalez, Duane Stone, Antonio Watson and A.C. Carter.
