Field Hockey Unveils Uniform

Bloomington, Ind. - Morgan Albini, Jamie Baldwin, and Lauren Brophy represented the field hockey team at the IU Pigskin Preview at the Champions Sports Bar & Grill at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Indianapolis yesterday evening. Athletes from five fall IU sports teams, as well as a member from the marching band gathered for the event.

This is the first year that all of the Indiana sports teams will be wearing the same shades of crimson and cream. The hope is that this will bring a commonality and coordinated look to the athletic program.

"Overall the event was a good time," Morgan Albini said. Everyone was very receptive to the new trend we are trying to set. I feel that with all of the teams having the same shades of crimson and cream will help unify all the student-athletes and programs. We will be known as one group of student-athletes instead of as separate teams."
