BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - SSenior pitcher Jacob Cary will begin his third season as a member of the Indiana baseball team in February. Cary has started 20 games on the mound for the Hoosiers the last two seasons. As a junior in 2002, he pitched 74.1 innings, which ranked second on the team and is the most of any returning hurler in 2003. Cary, who hails from Bruceville, Ind., and attended North Knox High School, was also an Academic All-Big Ten selection last season. To learn more about Cary off the field, read on..

1. The best thing about playing baseball at Indiana is: being able to have friends and family come and see me play
2. The thing that impresses me most about the coaching staff is: their knowledge

17. Why did you choose your jersey number? Barry Larkin’s number and had it through high shcool and little league
