Regarding the media and Coach Davis' comments to his team through the media over the past two weeks:
"...sometimes it's a playful thing, through the media. You can tell when he's serious and when he's not. At least I can, and he definitely meant it that time. He just looked at me and I'm the leader of the team, that I had to change things or they weren't going to get any better.

Regarding Coach Davis' thinking about him as a player he has to stay on to keep motivated:
"You'd have to ask him. I think he knows I tend to relax and he has to stay on me. It's nothing I can't do (being a team leader) and it's something I've gotten a lot better at. I just think that we're heading in the right direction right now. If we can play with the same intensity, the same heart that we have the last couple of games then we will be alright."

Regarding rebounding as a factor in the team turnaround:
"We're just more aggressive, we're getting in there and fighting for rebounds where in the past we would just sit back and just watch everyone else go for them."

Regarding the physical play that has characterized the Hoosiers lately:
"I think this is a team that likes the physical games and gets real emotional. It helps us a lot when we play that way, like last night (a 69-51 victory over Ohio State). Whenever it's like that we get great team wins, it's not one individual stepping up and winning for us like Bracey (Wright) did at Ball State (when he scored a career-high 31 points). We're just all together and fighting together and we're more of a closer unit."

Regarding the upcoming game against Purdue and the beginning of a four-game road swing:
"It's going to be a really tough game. Mackey (Arena) is always tought and Purdue is a lot better this year than they have been in the past. I think it's going to be a really tough game."

Regarding the upcoming game and the rivalry with Purdue:
"I think it will be a little tougher and more intense because Purdue is a lot better than they have been in probably the last three years. I'm looking forward to it. We've got a four-game road stretch, it's not going to be easy by any means. We're going to take it a game at a time and we're looking forward to the game."

Regarding the Purdue game earlier in the season:
"In that game we were fighting with intensity. It was a fight, a battle to the end. We won in the last minute of the game. I don't expect anything less when we head up to Mackey (Arena)."

Regarding time off between games:
"As long as we have some time in between games we will be fine, we will be prepared. The best scenario, the one that we like, is having a Tuesday game and then a Saturday game. It gives us time to relax but also prepare."

Regarding the non-conference game against Louisville:
"It is tough having a non-conference game in the middle of the Big Ten season because you obviously are trying to win but you are also trying not to get hurt. Last year after we played a non-conference game, we didn't have JJ (Jared Jeffries) for our next Big Ten game (against Wisconsin - IU lost 64-63). You still want to play great, but you have to be careful. The Big Ten schedule is very important and when you play a non-conference game, you can see where the dilemma takes place."

Regarding the upcoming Purdue game and the beginning of a four-game road swing:
"Starting on the road, the first game at Purdue is tough because Purdue is playing probably the best in the Big Ten right now. Playing them earlier in the year, we had a close contest with them and it was a neutral floor. We're going to have to go up into a hostile environment and hopefully the way we've performed on the road earlier this year doesn't show how we're going to play later on on the road. I think if we continue to fight the way we have been in the last three games at home then we should have a chance to put ourselves in a situation to win."
