Recht and Stone Fall in Quarterfinals of MidWest Regionals

East Lansing, Mich. Ryan Recht and John Stone completed action today in the ITA Midwest Regionals double competition.

The tandem fell to the No. 9 seed Clay Estes and Avery Ticer from Big Ten opponent, Minnesota, 8-6 in the quarterfinals.

Recht and Stone finished 3-1 on the weekend. Their three previous wins over the weekend came after defeating the Matt Maver and Octavian from University of Louisville, 9-7, Jonny Hoak and Walter Valarezo from Iowa, 8-3 and Dan Grupp and Jose Orozco from Western Michigan, 9-8 (3).

The Hoosiers return to action when they take part in the Big Ten singles championships on Nov. 15-17 in Ann Arbor Mich.
